Times and locations for Daisuke Jigen’s Gravestone have been revealed, Takeshi Koike is to attend first day of showings!
It looks like showings for the upcoming animated feature film will be expanding, as it will be now airing in a total of nine cinemas across the months of June and July.
From the 21st to the 27th of June, the film will be hitting the Wald 9 cinema in Tokyo as originally planned. Takeshi Koike will be attending the initial showings at the cinema on the 21st. This is now a must-attend event for those wanting to meet and greet the popular film director and seats are likely to go quickly.
In addition to Takeshi Koike, Japanese voice actors for Lupin (Kanichi Kurita) and Jigen (Kiyoshi Kobayashi) will also be present. The legendary duo will taking the stage along with Koike and one of the films producers to greet fans before the feature begins.

After the 27th, the film will make its way into other cinemas across Japan - showing in such states as Kanagawa, Niigata, Osaka and Kyoto. The 50 minute long film will have a very limited run, only showing for a total of six days in each state.
Tickets cost 1,400 yen ($14 / £8) and advanced booking is recommended. General sale for tickets will begin on the 14th of June, which is next Saturday. If you live in Japan, be sure to get them booked before they’re gone!
