Three new images have been revealed today from the upcoming Takeshi Koike Lupin flick, "The Blood Spray Of Ishikawa Goemon."

The film will be hitting cinemas in Japan next year, from February the 4th. James Shimoji will be back to compose the soundtrack, alongside Takeshi Koike who will once again be in the directors chair. Yuuya Takahashi will be completing the screen play, while Yu Kiyozono will be producing alongside Koike.

The new images show a younger looking Goemon and Lupin, as well as a new (not so friendly looking) face. This new character goes by the nickname "The Bermuda Spectre" and will serve as an antagonist in the film.

"The Blood Spray Of Ishikawa Goemon" is still classing itself as a prequel to the Lupin series, starring a young Goemon and Lupin III. It's no doubt that this film is going to be a darker take on the franchise, just like with Takeshi Koike's "Fujiko Mine" and "Gravestone of Daisuke Jigen." Hopefully that's your thing. If it isn't, there's always Part IV!
