The Italian version of the International Business Times has announced that the new blue jacket show will get an initial air date of August 29th in Italy!

The article, posted on the official International Business Times website, goes on to mention that the show will début on channel Italia 1 and will air on each Saturday evening after the 29th. It's said that the show will run for a total of 26 episodes, each 30 minutes in length.

We're treating this one as a rumour for the time being. Why? There's some conflicting information here regarding the channel of which the show is to air on. While the International Business Times is reporting it will show on Italia 1, a recent newspaper article said it was to show on Boing.

In addition, the author of this article doesn't seem to know who Lupin III even is. The heading image of the article shows a depiction of the original Arsène Lupin, created by Maurice Leblanc. The caption of the image says "Lupin III." This doesn't exactly fill us with confidence...

If the August 29th air date is true, we're bound to find out more information on the show shortly. The International Business Times website also mentions that some more screens and information is to be shared at an upcoming Cartoon festival in Rimini, Italy. The festival will take place next Saturday, on July 18th!

Let's keep our eyes peeled and see if the rumours are true! Stay tuned, as we'll post more information as it is revealed!
