Living in Japan and still yet to see Takeshi Koike’s latest Lupin work? Then not to worry, as the film is now going to be shown right up until the 17th of August!

The 50 minute long film, which is split into two “acts”, was originally planned to only have a one week showing at the Wald 9 cinema in Tokyo. Due to some good marketing and as a result, overwhelming consumer interest, the film was extended to many different cinemas across Japan.

We can only assume it’s had a pretty good run so far too, since it’s now going to be shown for an extra three - four weeks. That’s great news for fans of the series. There’s certainly still plenty of people invested in the franchise in its home country, that’s for sure!
